Suggested Launch Site - Launch over the bank at the bridge.

General Description - This is a relatively short paddle (four miles if you turn round at the junction with the Glasson branch) but if you are feeling energetic and don`t mind portaging you can explore the branch down to Glasson Docks (2 miles and six locks) or continue north for many lock free miles.

Half a mile north is the Canalside Craft Centre at Galgate.

When you've gone far enough simply turn round and return to the start.
