General
Description - If on launching you go to the right you can paddle for 5 miles until the next weir to give a 10 mile portage free trip. If you want to detour into Lacock Village (National Trust) get out at the road bridge (3.5 miles) and walk west. If you stay on the river you'll paddle right past the Abbey. Turn round whenever you want and return to the start

Beautiful part of the river.Did not get as Far as Lacock due to a fallen tree right across the river. It's a shame these blockages are not cleared.
